“On behalf of Council, we continue to rely on your expertise as we address issues affecting our community and our citizens. We have always been able to rely on the integrity and honesty on your perspective from a legal point of view."

INDIGENOUS PEOPLES LAW
We pride ourselves in being a firm with a number of Indigenous lawyers. We exclusively serve Indigenous Peoples – some call this ‘Aboriginal law’. What we do well is considering and advising our clients in navigating and devising strategies to deal with Euro-Canadian laws, when and how to take other governments to Court, when and how to focus on revitalizing and protecting Treaties and Indigenous laws, the laws of the Anishnaabe and Ininewak and others, and how to move forward with Indigenous institutions and projects.
The firm was founded in 2004 by P. Michael Jerch with the support and inspiration of former Grand Chief Sydney Garrioch (Pimicikamak Cree) and the late Chief Francis Flett (Opaskwayak Cree).
The perspective of Indigenous Peoples is front and center at Jerch Law, as are the legal traditions and objectives of our clients.
In order to serve you better our work environment is team oriented, constantly progressing, towards action, innovation, learning, collaboration and the latest technology.
